The City of Woodward has partnered with Stock Exchange Bank and the Woodward Rodders Car Club on a restoration project for the historic Stock Exchange Clock formerly located at 9th Street and Texas Avenue.
The clock was recently removed from its location as part of an effort to refurbish and renew the structure, including restoring its functionality and preserving its historic character. The restoration work is being completed locally in Woodward.
The project was initiated by the Woodward Rodders Car Club, whose members approached the City and Stock Exchange Bank with the goal of bringing the landmark back to life for the community to enjoy.
“This is a great example of local organizations working together to preserve a piece of Woodward history,” said Shaun Barnett, Woodward’s City Manager.
The City, Stock Exchange Bank, and the Woodward Rodders Car Club are collaborating throughout the restoration process, with hopes of remounting the clock at its original location by early Fall 2026. A public grand reveal is also planned following completion of the project.
Additional updates on the restoration project will be shared as work progresses.
