City of Woodward Parks Superintendent and J&I President/Owner at Enterprise Park

When a new playground was constructed at Circle Park last fall, the previous equipment was removed with the intention of extending its use at another location within the city’s park system. Enterprise Park, established three years ago and owned and managed by the City of Woodward Parks Department, was identified as the relocation site. Prior to these improvements, the park featured a basketball court and tetherball area.

The equipment from Circle Park was scheduled to be refurbished and installed at Enterprise Park as part of the City’s ongoing efforts to maintain and enhance public amenities. J&I Industrial Painting, an industrial sandblasting and painting specialist based in Woodward with more than 40 years of experience, was contracted to assist with the project.

J&I initially partnered with the City to complete sandblasting services, while repainting was planned to be handled internally. As the project progressed, J&I expanded its scope of work to include repainting services, ultimately providing both sandblasting and painting at no cost to the City as part of its contribution to the project.

Jay Arnold, president and owner of J&I Industrial Painting, shared his appreciation for the opportunity to contribute to a project that benefits local families. J&I Industrial Painting is located at 43094 S CR 206 in Woodward and can be reached at 580-571-7146 or by email at jayarnold2013@sbcglobal.net.

The City of Woodward values partnerships that support the maintenance and improvement of public spaces. Collaborative efforts such as this help enhance community amenities and contribute to the quality of life for residents.
